A font is missing or text looks wrong

The font is missing from the app’s list

1. Make sure you extracted the ZIP and installed its .ttf or .otf file.
2. Fully close and reopen the app.
3. Search by family name too. Bold and Italic may be listed in a style menu.
4. Try another app. If it works there, check the first app’s font support.

Boxes, wrong letters or mixed typefaces

Preview the same text on the font page and check its alphabets. If a letter, Latin character or ₾ is missing, choose a font that contains it.

If changing the font turns Georgian into Latin, read Georgian text and Unicode. If typing produces Latin characters, switch to a Georgian keyboard.

Browser and phone apps

An installed desktop font does not automatically appear in every online editor. Check the service’s custom-font upload feature and whether your account has access to it. Check the licence before uploading.

Not every phone app supports font imports. Downloading a font by itself does not change an app or phone interface.
